| I am a small breeder of AKC Miniature Dachshunds, I live in small northern town located in North Idaho. I started breeding the Miniature Dachshunds about 12 years ago. I do not breed any other breed. All the Dachshunds are keep in a large room off the kitchen with a large pot belly stove going... when the snow comes it hard to get next to the stove with all the little ones laying around it. I have most colors, Chocolate, Black/Tan, Reds, Black/Tan Piebalds Solids & Dapples , they come in smooth or Long hair coats. I breed for Conformation over color. My daughter and I live in the country with wildlife all around. The Dachshunds were chosen for Temperment, Conformation, bloodline, this is how I started the breeding program.
